Musnad Ahmad 1304:43

Dawud ibn Mihran al-Dabbagh narrated to us, Dawud—meaning al-Attar—narrated to us, from Ibn Khuthaym, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma bint Yazid, that she heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not be pleased with him for forty nights. If he dies, he dies a disbeliever. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. And if he returns to it, it is a duty upon Allah to give him to drink from the mud of khabal." She said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, and what is the mud of khabal?" He said: "The pus of the people of the Fire."
