Hadith 590:3
Ibrahim ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: Abu Wa'il San'ani Muradi narrated to us, he said: We were sitting with Urwah ibn Muhammad. He said: Then a man was brought in to him and spoke to him with words that angered him. He said: So when he became angry, he stood up, then he returned to us having performed ablution (wudu), and he said: My father narrated to me, from Atiyyah—and he had companionship [with the Prophet]—he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, anger is from the Shaytan, and the Shaytan was created from fire, and fire is only extinguished with water. So if one of you becomes angry, let him perform ablution."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
