Musnad Ahmad 1119:16

Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, he said: Safwan narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr narrated to us, from his father, from Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja‘i, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and greeted him. He said: "Awf?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Enter." I said: "All of me or part of me?" He said: "Rather, all of you." He said: "Count, O Awf, six things before the Hour. The first of them is my death." He said: I began to weep until the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, began to quiet me. I said: "One." "And the second: the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem)." I said: "Two." "And the third: a plague that will occur in my nation, taking them like the disease that strikes sheep." He said: "Three." "And the fourth: a tribulation that will occur in my nation, and it will be immense." I said: "Four." "And the fifth: wealth will overflow among you, until a man is given one hundred dinars and he is dissatisfied with it." I said: "Five." "And the sixth: a truce that will be between you and the Children of Yellow (the Romans/Byzantines), and they will march against you under eighty banners." I said: "And what is the banner (ghayah)?" He said: "The flag. Under every flag will be twelve thousand. The encampment of the Muslims on that day will be in a land called al-Ghuta, in a city called Damascus."
