Hadith of Bahz bin Hakim, from his father, from his grandfather (RA)
Hadith 792:2
Isma'il narrated to us, Bahz bin Hakim informed us, from his father, from his grandfather, that his father or his paternal uncle stood up to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "For what were my neighbors seized?" He turned away from him. Then he said: "Inform me, for what were they seized?" He turned away from him. Then he said: "Inform me, for what were they seized?" He turned away from him. Then he said: "If I say that, they claim that you forbid [people from] error while you seclude yourself with it." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "What did he say?" His brother or his nephew stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, he said [such and such]." He said: "You have indeed said it, or the one who said it [has]. And if I were to do that, it would be against me and not against you. Leave his neighbors for him."
