Hadith of Bahz bin Hakim, from his father, from his grandfather (RA)

Hadith 792:27

Isma'il narrated to us, Bahz bin Hakim informed us, from his father, from his grandfather, that his brother or his paternal uncle stood up to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "For what were my neighbors seized?" He turned away from him. He said: "For what were my neighbors seized?" He turned away from him. Then he said: "For what were my neighbors seized?" He turned away from him. Then he said: "If I have said that, the people have claimed that Muhammad forbids injustice while he practices it in private." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "What did he say?" His brother or his nephew stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, he said such and such." He said: "As for you having said it, or your speaker having said it: 'Even if I were to do that, it would be upon me, and it is not upon you.' Leave his neighbors for him."
