Musnad Ahmad 792:30

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Bahz ibn Hakim ibn Mu'awiyah ibn Haydah al-Qushayri, my father narrated to me, from my grandfather, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what should we approach of our women and what should we leave?" He said: "Your tilth, approach your tilth however you wish, provided that you do not strike the face, and do not revile, and feed [her] when you eat, and clothe [her] when you clothe yourself, and do not abandon [her] except within the house. How could you do otherwise when you have been intimate with one another, except by what is lawful regarding them?"
