Musnad Ahmad 792:9

He said: And he said: "A man from among those who were before you was granted wealth and children by Allah until an era passed and another came. When he was dying, he said to his children: 'What kind of father was I to you?' They said: 'The best of fathers.' He said: 'Will you obey me? Otherwise, I will take my wealth away from you. Look, when I die, burn me until you leave me as charcoal, then crush me in a mortar.'" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, moved his hands level with his knees. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "And by Allah, they did it." The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gestured with his hand like this: "Then scatter me on a windy day, perhaps I may escape Allah." That is how 'Affan said it. And Muhanna Abu Shibl said, from Hammad: "Escape Allah." "So they did it, and by Allah, he was standing in the grasp of Allah. He said: 'O son of Adam, what compelled you to do what you did?' He said: 'Fear of You.' So Allah forgave him for it."
