Musnad Ahmad 837:1

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Humayd ibn Hilal narrating from Mutarrif, from a Bedouin: "That he saw upon the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, two patched sandals."
