Musnad Ahmad 190:2

Surayj ibn al-Nu‘man narrated to us, he said: ‘Abd al-‘Aziz—meaning Ibn Muhammad—narrated to us, he said: Rabi‘ah ibn Abi ‘Abd al-Rahman informed me, from al-Harith ibn Bilal, from his father, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, is the cancellation of Hajj [into ‘Umrah] for us specifically, or for the people generally?" He said: "Rather, it is for us specifically." [‘Abd Allah ibn Ahmad said]: I found in my father’s book in his own handwriting: Quraysh ibn Ibrahim narrated to me, he said: ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn al-Darawardi narrated to us, he said: Rabi‘ah ibn Abi ‘Abd al-Rahman informed me, he said: I heard al-Harith ibn Bilal ibn al-Harith narrating from his father, who said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about the *mut‘ah* (enjoyment) of Hajj; is it for us specifically or for the people generally?" He said: "No, rather it is for us specifically."
