Hadith 1115:16
Waki’ and Muhammad ibn Ja’far narrated to us, they said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla. Ibn Ja’far said in his narration: He said: I heard Ibn Abi Layla. And ‘Abd al-Razzaq informed us: Sufyan informed us, from al-A’mash, from al-Hakam, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Bilal, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiped over the khuffayn (leather socks) and the khimar (head covering).
حدثنا وكيع، ومحمد بن جعفر، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن الحكم، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، قال ابن جعفر في حديثه: قال: سمعت ابن أبي ليلى، وعبد الرزاق، أنبأنا سفيان، عن الأعمش ، عن الحكم، عن ابن أبي ليلى، عن بلال، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " مسح على الخفين والخمار "
