Hadith 1115:27
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Sa'id ibn 'Amr ibn Sa'id ibn al-'As narrated to us, from Sa'id—meaning his father—who said: Mu'awiyah performed 'Umrah and entered the House (the Ka'bah). He sent for Ibn 'Umar and sat waiting for him until he came to him. He said: "Where did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pray the day he entered the House?" He (Ibn 'Umar) said: "I was not with him, but I entered after he intended to leave. I met Bilal and asked him: 'Where did he pray?' He informed me that he 'prayed between the two pillars.'" Mu'awiyah stood up and prayed between them.
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم، حدثنا إسحاق بن سعيد بن عمرو بن سعيد بن العاص، عن سعيد، يعني أباه، قال: اعتمر معاوية فدخل البيت، فأرسل إلى ابن عمر وجلس ينتظره حتى جاءه، فقال: أين صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم دخل البيت؟ قال: ما كنت معه، ولكني دخلت بعد أن أراد الخروج، فلقيت بلالا فسألته: أين صلى؟ فأخبرني أنه " صلى بين الأسطوانتين " فقام معاوية فصلى بينهما
