Hadith 1115:30
Hassan ibn al-Rabi‘ and Abu Ahmad narrated to us, they said: Abu Isra’il narrated to us—Abu Ahmad said in his narration: al-Hakam narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Bilal, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, commanded me not to perform *tathwib* (adding 'as-salatu khayrun min an-nawm') in any of the prayers except in the dawn prayer." And Abu Ahmad said in his narration: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to me: "When you call the adhan, do not perform *tathwib*..."
حدثنا حسن بن الربيع، وأبو أحمد، قالا: حدثنا أبو إسرائيل، قال: أبو أحمد في حديثه: حدثنا الحكم، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، عن بلال، قال: " أمرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن لا أثوب في شيء من الصلاة إلا في صلاة الفجر "، وقال أبو أحمد في حديثه: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا أذنت فلا تثوب ...
