Hadith 1115:36
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Al-Hakam informed me, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Layla, from Bilal, he said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to wipe over the leather socks (khuffayn) and the head covering (khimar)."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا شعبة، أنبأني الحكم، قال: سمعت ابن أبي ليلى، عن بلال، قال: " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمسح على الخفين والخمار "
