Musnad Ahmad 1017:26

Isma'il narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadra, from 'Abdullah ibn Mawla, who said: While I was traveling in al-Ahwaz, I was with a man walking in front of me on a mule, and he was saying: "O Allah, my generation from this nation has passed away, so join me with them." I said: "And me, include me in your supplication." He said: "And this companion of mine, if he wishes that." Then he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best of my nation is my generation, then those who follow them." He said: I do not know if he mentioned the third or not. "Then people will come after them in whom obesity will appear; they will offer testimony without being asked for it." He said: And he was Buraydah al-Aslami.
