Musnad Ahmad 1017:42

Waki' narrated to us, Bashir ibn al-Muhajir narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection like a pale man, and it will say to its companion: 'I am the one who kept you awake at night and made you thirsty during the heat of your day.'"
