Musnad Ahmad 1017:7

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Husayn narrated to me, Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated, he said: I and my father entered upon Mu'awiyah, and he seated us on the cushions. Then food was brought to us, and we ate. Then drink was brought to us, and Mu'awiyah drank, then he handed it to my father, then he said: "I have not drunk it since the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade it." Then Mu'awiyah said: "I was the most handsome of the youth of Quraysh and the one with the best teeth, and there is nothing I used to find pleasure in as I used to find it when I was a youth, except for milk, or a person of good speech speaking to me."
