Hadith of Buraydah al-Aslami (RA)
Hadith 1017:74
Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Husayn narrated to me, Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated to us, he said: I heard my father, Buraydah, saying: Mu’adh ibn Jabal led his companions in the Isha prayer, and he recited in it: "The Hour has drawn near" [Al-Qamar: 1]. A man stood up before he finished, prayed [by himself], and left. Mu’adh spoke harshly to him. The man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and excused himself to him. He said: "I was working in a palm grove and I feared for the water." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Pray with 'By the sun and its brightness' [Ash-Shams] and similar surahs."
