Hadith of Buraydah al-Aslami (RA)

Hadith 1017:83

Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Ayyub ibn Jabir narrated to us, from Simak, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: I went out with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, until when we were at Waddan, he said: "Stay where you are until I come to you." He departed, then he came to us and he was heavy [burdened/distressed]. He said: "I went to the grave of the mother of Muhammad, and I asked my Lord for intercession, but He forbade it to me. I had forbidden you from visiting graves, so visit them. And I had forbidden you from the meat of the sacrificial animals after three days, so eat, and keep whatever seems good to you. And I had forbidden you from these drinks in these vessels, so drink from whatever seems good to you."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
