Hadith 679:1
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Umar from the family of Hudhayfah narrated to us, from al-Sha’bi, from Dihyah al-Kalbi, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I carry a donkey for you upon a mare so that it may produce a mule for you, and you may ride it?" He said: "Only those who do not know do that."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد، حدثنا عمر، من آل حذيفة، عن الشعبي، عن دحية الكلبي قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، ألا أحمل لك حمارا على فرس فتنتج لك بغلا فتركبها؟ قال: " إنما يفعل ذلك الذين لا يعلمون "
