Hadith 411:2
Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah, our neighbor, narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Sa’id al-Bahili al-Athram al-Basri narrated to us, saying: Salam ibn Sulayman al-Qari narrated to us, saying: ‘Asim ibn Bahdalah narrated to us, from Abu Wa’il, from Dirar ibn al-Azwar, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "Extend your hand so that I may pledge allegiance to you upon Islam." Dirar then said: I have abandoned the arrows of divination and the music of singing girls, And wine, for prayer and supplication. And the charging of the horse in the thick of battle, And my bearing of arms against the polytheists in combat. So, O Lord, let me not be cheated in my bargain, For I have sold my wealth and my family in exchange. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "You have not been cheated in your bargain, O Dirar."
قال عبد الله بن أحمد: حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الله ، جارنا، قال: حدثنا محمد بن سعيد الباهلي الأثرم البصري، قال: حدثنا سلام بن سليمان القارئ، قال: حدثنا عاصم ابن بهدلة، عن أبي وائل، عن ضرار بن الأزور، قال: أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقلت : امدد يدك أبايعك على الإسلام، قال ضرار: ثم قلت: تركت القداح وعزف القيان ... والخمر تصلية وابتهالا وكري المحبر في غمرة ... وحملي على المشركين القتالا فيا رب لا أغبنن سفعتي ... فقد بعت مالي وأهلي ابتدالا فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما غبنت سفعتك يا ضرار " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
