And from the Hadith of Fatimah bint Qais, sister of Ad-Dahhak bin Qais (RA)

ومن حديث فاطمة بنت قيس أخت الضحاك بن قيس

Hadith 1255:21

Hushaym narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Fatima bint Qays narrated to me that her husband divorced her irrevocably, so she disputed regarding the residence and the maintenance before the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. She said: He did not grant me residence nor maintenance, and he said: "O daughter of the family of Qays, residence and maintenance are only for the one who has the right of return."

حدثنا هشيم، عن مجالد، عن الشعبي، قال: حدثتني فاطمة بنت قيس، أن زوجها طلقها البتة فخاصمت في السكنى والنفقة إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قالت: فلم يجعل سكنى لي ولا نفقة، وقال: " يا بنت آل قيس، إنما السكنى والنفقة على من كانت له رجعة "
