Musnad Ahmad 1255:23

And from the Hadith of Fatimah bint Qais, sister of Ad-Dahhak bin Qais (RA)

ومن حديث فاطمة بنت قيس أخت الضحاك بن قيس

Hadith 1255:23

Hashim narrated to us, he said: Sayyar, Husayn, Mughirah, Ash'ath, Ibn Abi Khalid, and Dawud narrated to us, and Mujalid and Isma'il—meaning Ibn Salim—narrated it to us, from al-Sha'bi, who said: I entered upon Fatimah bint Qays and asked her about the judgment of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) regarding her. She said: Her husband divorced her irrevocably. She said: So I disputed with him before the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) regarding housing and maintenance. She said: "He did not grant me housing nor maintenance, and he ordered me to observe my waiting period in the house of Ibn Umm Maktum."

حدثنا هشيم، قال: حدثنا سيار، وحصين، ومغيرة، وأشعث، وابن أبي خالد، وداود، وحدثناه مجالد، وإسماعيل يعني ابن سالم، عن الشعبي قال: دخلت على فاطمة بنت قيس فسألتها عن قضاء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عليها، فقالت: طلقها زوجها البتة، قالت: فخاصمته إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في السكنى والنفقة، قالت: " فلم يجعل لي سكنى ولا نفقة، وأمرني أن أعتد في بيت ابن أم مكتوم " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
