Musnad Ahmad 1255:31

Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from al-Sha’bi, from Fatimah bint Qays, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came one day in haste, ascended the pulpit, and it was called out among the people: "Prayer is a gathering." The people gathered, and he said: "O people, I did not call you out for a desire nor for a fear, but Tamim al-Dari informed me that a group of people from Palestine boarded the sea, and the wind cast them onto an island among the islands of the sea. There, they found a beast with thick hair; it was not known whether it was male or female due to the abundance of its hair. They said: 'Who are you?' It said: 'I am al-Jassasah.' They said: 'Inform us.' It said: 'I will not inform you, nor will I ask you, but in this monastery is a man who is eager to inform you and to ask you.' So they entered the monastery, and there was a man, one-eyed, shackled in iron. He said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'We are the Arabs.' He said: 'Has the Prophet been sent among you?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Have the Arabs followed him?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'That is better for them.' He said: 'What has become of Persia? Has he prevailed over it?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'Verily, he will prevail over it.' Then he said: 'What has become of the spring of Zughar?' They said: 'It is flowing and full.' He said: 'What has become of the palm trees of Baysan? Have they borne fruit?' They said: 'Yes, their early ones.' He said: 'Then he leaped a leap until we thought he would escape. We said: 'Who are you?' He said: 'I am the Dajjal. Verily, I will tread upon the entire earth except for Makkah and Taybah.'" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said: "Rejoice, O community of Muslims, this is Taybah; the Dajjal shall not enter it."
