Hadith 1204:3
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Dawud—meaning Ibn Abi Hind—from al-Sha’bi, from Fatimah bint Qays, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came one day in a hurry and ascended the pulpit, and it was called out among the people: "Prayer is gathering." The people gathered, and he said: "O people, I did not call you for a desire that has descended nor for a fear, but Tamim al-Dari informed me that a group of people from Palestine boarded the sea, and the wind cast them onto an island of the islands of the sea. There, they found a beast that was hairy; it was not known whether it was male or female due to the abundance of its hair. They said: 'Who are you?' It said: 'I am al-Jassasah.' They said: 'Inform us.' It said: 'I will not inform you, nor will I ask you, but in this monastery is a man who is eager to inform you and to ask you.' So they entered the monastery, and there was a one-eyed man shackled in iron. He said: 'Who are you?' We said: 'We are the Arabs.' He said: 'Has the Prophet been sent among you?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Have the Arabs followed him?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'That is better for them.' He said: 'What has Persia done? Has he prevailed over it?' They said: 'He has not prevailed over it yet.' He said: 'As for that, he will prevail over it.' Then he said: 'What has the spring of Zughar done?' They said: 'It is flowing and full.' He said: 'What has the palm tree of Baysan done? Has it borne fruit?' They said: 'Its early ones have borne fruit.' He said: 'Then he leaped a leap until we thought he would escape. We said: 'Who are you?' He said: 'I am the Dajjal. As for me, I will tread upon the entire earth except Makkah and Taybah.'" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said: "Rejoice, O assembly of Muslims, this is Taybah; he shall not enter it"—meaning the Dajjal.
حدثنا يونس بن محمد، قال: حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة، عن داود يعني ابن أبي هند، عن الشعبي، عن فاطمة بنت قيس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جاء ذات يوم مسرعا فصعد المنبر ونودي في الناس: الصلاة جامعة، فاجتمع الناس، فقال: " يا أيها الناس، إني لم أدعكم لرغبة نزلت ولا لرهبة، ولكن تميما الداري أخبرني أن نفرا من أهل فلسطين ركبوا البحر، فقذفتهم الريح إلى جزيرة من جزائر البحر، فإذا هم بدابة أشعر، ما يدرى أذكر هو أم أنثى لكثرة شعره، قالوا: من أنت؟ فقالت: أنا الجساسة، فقالوا: فأخبرينا، فقالت: ما أنا بمخبرتكم ولا مستخبرتكم ، ولكن في هذا الدير رجل فقير إلى أن يخبركم وإلى أن يستخبركم، فدخلوا الدير فإذا رجل أعور مصفد في الحديد، فقال: من أنتم؟ قلنا: نحن العرب، فقال: هل بعث فيكم النبي؟ قالوا: نعم، قال: فهل اتبعته العرب؟ قالوا: نعم، قال: ذلك خير لهم، قال: فما فعلت فارس؟ هل ظهر عليها؟ قالوا: لم يظهر عليها بعد، فقال: أما إنه سيظهر عليها، ثم قال: ما فعلت عين زغر؟ قالوا: هي تدفق ملأى، قال: فما فعل نخل بيسان؟ هل أطعم؟ قالوا: قد أطعم أوائله، قال: فوثب وثبة حتى ظننا أنه سيفلت، فقلنا: من أنت؟ قال: أنا الدجال، أما إني سأطأ الأرض كلها غير مكة، وطيبة "، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أبشروا يا معشر المسلمين، هذه طيبة لا يدخلها "، يعني: الدجال
