Hadith 599:1
Yazid ibn Abd Rabbih narrated to us, he said: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, he said: Al-Awza'i narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Fayruz al-Daylami, from his father, that they embraced Islam, and he was among those who embraced Islam. They sent their delegation to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with their pledge and their Islam, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, accepted that from them. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are those whom you have known, and we have come from where you have known, and we have embraced Islam, so who is our guardian (wali)?" He said: "Allah and His Messenger." They said: "We are satisfied; we are content."
حدثنا يزيد بن عبد ربه، قال: حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، قال: حدثنا الأوزاعي، عن عبد الله بن فيروز الديلمي، عن أبيه، أنهم أسلموا وكان فيمن أسلم، فبعثوا وفدهم إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ببيعتهم وإسلامهم، فقبل ذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم منهم، فقالوا: يا رسول الله، نحن من قد عرفت، وجئنا من حيث قد علمت، وأسلمنا، فمن ولينا؟ قال: " " الله ورسوله " " قالوا: حسبنا رضينا
