Musnad Ahmad 493:3

Yahya ibn Adam and Ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, they said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Habashi ibn Junadah—Yahya said: And he was among those who witnessed the Farewell Pilgrimage—he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said in the third [instance]: "And those who shorten."
