Hadith 884:1
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Abd al-Karim informed me, from Habib ibn Mukhannaf, who said: I reached the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the day of 'Arafah. He said, while he was saying: "Do you know it?" He said: I do not know what they replied to him. He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "It is upon the people of every house to slaughter a sheep in every Rajab, and in every Adha, a sheep."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا ابن جريج، أخبرني عبد الكريم، عن حبيب بن مخنف، قال: انتهيت إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم عرفة، قال: وهو يقول: " هل تعرفونها؟ "، قال: فما أدري ما رجعوا عليه، قال: فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " على أهل كل بيت أن يذبحوا شاة، في كل رجب، وكل أضحى شاة "
