Musnad Ahmad 1155:4

Rawh ibn ‘Ubadah narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Awn narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: I met Ibn Sa’id twice. As for one time, I met him while some of his companions were with him. I said to some of them: "I adjure you by Allah, if I ask you about something, will you tell me the truth?" They said: "Yes." He said: I said: "Do you say that he is him [the Dajjal]?" They said: "No." I said: "You lie, by Allah. One of you told me—and he was at that time the least of you in wealth and children—that he would not die until he became the most of you in wealth and children, and he is today as such." He said: So we talked, then I parted from him. Then I met him another time, and his eye had changed. I said: "When did your eye do what I see?" He said: "I do not know." I said: "You do not know, and it is in your head?" He said: "What do you want from me, O Ibn ‘Umar? If Allah the Exalted wills to create him from this staff of yours, He will create him." And he snorted like the loudest snorting of a donkey I have ever heard. Some of my companions claimed that I struck him with a staff I had with me until it broke, but as for me, by Allah, I did not feel it. He said: So he entered upon his sister, Hafsah, and informed her. She said: "What do you want from him? Do you not know that he [the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: 'Indeed, the first thing that will raise him against the people is a fit of anger that he will get angry with'?"
