Musnad Ahmad 125:8

Hajjaj narrated to us, Ash-Shu'aythi narrated to us, from Zufar ibn Wathimah, from Hakim ibn Hizam, who said: "Poetry is not to be recited in the mosques, the prescribed punishments (hudud) are not to be carried out in them, and retaliation (qisas) is not to be sought in them." My father said: "He did not attribute it to the Prophet (marfu'), meaning Hajjaj."
