Musnad Ahmad 298:9

Bahz narrated to us, he said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Hilal narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn Amir said: The Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the day of Uhud and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have been afflicted with wounds and exhaustion, so what do you command us?" He said: "Dig, widen, and place two or three men in one grave." They said: "Which of them should we put forward?" He said: "The one among them who has the most Quran." He said: So my father, Amir, was put forward before one or two men.
