Hadith of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 1034:126

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A‘mash narrated to us, from Sa‘d ibn ‘Ubaydah, from al-Mustawrid ibn al-Ahnaf, from Silah ibn Zufar, from Hudhayfah, who said: I prayed one night with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he began [reciting] al-Baqarah. I said: "He will bow at the hundredth [verse]." Then he continued. I said: "He will pray it in one rak‘ah." Then he continued, and I said: "He will bow with it." Then he began [reciting] an-Nisa’ and recited it, then he began [reciting] Al ‘Imran and recited it. He was reciting in a steady, flowing manner. When he passed by a verse containing glorification, he would glorify; when he passed by a request, he would ask; and when he passed by a seeking of refuge, he would seek refuge. Then he bowed and began saying: "Subhana Rabbi al-‘Azim" (Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty). His bowing was approximately the same length as his standing. Then he said: "Sami‘ Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise Him). Then he stood for a long time, close to the length of his bowing. Then he prostrated and said: "Subhana Rabbi al-A‘la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High). His prostration was close to the length of his standing.
