'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-A'mash, from Khaythama, from Abu Hudhayfah, from Hudhayfah, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and food was brought. A Bedouin came as if he were being driven, and he went to take some. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took his hand. Then a slave girl came as if she were being driven, and she reached out. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took her hand. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, when you have exhausted the Shaytan, he comes with the Bedouin and the slave girl to make the food lawful when the name of Allah is not mentioned over it. In the name of Allah, eat."
