Musnad Ahmad 1034:135

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, and Hajjaj narrated to me, Shu'bah narrated to me, from Qatadah, from Abu Mijlaz Lahiq ibn Humayd—and Hajjaj said: I heard Abu Mijlaz say: A man sat in the middle of a circle. Hudhayfah said: "Cursed is the one who sits in the middle of the circle, upon the tongue of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." And he said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed the one who sits in the middle of the circle." Hajjaj said: Shu'bah said: Abu Mijlaz did not meet Hudhayfah.
