Waki’ narrated to us, from Walid ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Jami’, from Abu al-Tufayl, from Hudhayfah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was on a journey and news reached him of a scarcity of water. He said: "Let no one reach the water before me."
