'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Mansur narrated to us, from Mujahid, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Hudhayfah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade us from drinking in vessels of gold and silver, and from eating in them, and from wearing silk and brocade." And he said: "They are for them in this world, and for you in the Hereafter."
