Musnad Ahmad 1034:30

Waki' narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Hudhayfah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the wearing of silk and brocade, and [the use of] gold and silver vessels." And he said: "They are for them in this world, and for us in the Hereafter."
