Hadith of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 1034:52
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Salih—meaning Ibn Kaysan—from Ibn Shihab, who said: Abu Idris 'A'idh Allah ibn 'Abd Allah al-Khawlani said: I heard Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman saying: By Allah, I am the most knowledgeable of people regarding every trial that will occur between me and the Hour. And that is not because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told me something of that which he kept secret from me and did not tell anyone else. Rather, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said—while he was speaking to a gathering I was in, and he was asked about the trials, and he was counting them—: "The trials, among them are three that do not leave anything, like the winds of summer; some of them are small, and some of them are large." Hudhayfah said: So all of those people [who were present] have passed away, except for me.
