Hadith 334:14
Hammad ibn Mas'adah narrated to us, from Yazid, from Salamah, that he used to seek out the place of the *mus-haf* (copy of the Quran), and he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to seek out that place. And there was between the pulpit and the *qiblah* the space of a sheep's passage.
