Musnad Ahmad 334:8

Bahz ibn Asad narrated to us, he said: Ikrimah ibn Ammar narrated to us, he said: Iyas ibn Salamah ibn al-Akwa narrated to us, from his father, who said: We went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) against Hawazin. While we were in that state, a man came on a red camel. He pulled something from the camel’s girth and tied the camel with it. Then he came walking until he sat with us to eat lunch. He looked at the people and saw that their backs were few and most of them were on foot. When he looked at the people, he went out running. He came to his camel and sat upon it. He went out spurring it, and he was a scout for the disbelievers. A man from us, from Aslam, followed him on a grey she-camel of his. Iyas said: My father said: I followed him, running on my feet. The head of the she-camel was at the hip of the camel. I caught up to him, and I was at the hip of the she-camel. I moved forward until I was at the hip of the camel. Then I moved forward until I took hold of the camel’s nose-rein and said to him: "Ukh!" (a sound to make a camel kneel). When the camel placed its knee on the ground, I drew my sword and struck his head, and it fell off. Then I came leading his mount, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met me with the people. He said: "Who killed this man?" They said: "Ibn al-Akwa." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He shall have all of his spoils."
