Ibn Safwan al-Zuhri narrated from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever kills a person under a covenant (mu'ahid) shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance can be perceived from a distance of forty years."
