Musnad Ahmad 790:108

'Ali narrated to us, Mu'adh bin Hisham narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Qatadah, from Abu Hassan, from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, who said: "The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would narrate to us about the Children of Israel until morning, not rising during it except for the greatness of prayer."
