Rawh and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad narrated to us, from Abu al-Tayyah—‘Affan said: Abu al-Tayyah narrated to us—from Hafs al-Laythi, from ‘Imran ibn Husayn, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the *hantam* (green glazed jars), the wearing of silk, and the wearing of gold rings."
