Hadith 790:27
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Sa‘id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif ibn ‘Abdullah, who said: ‘Imran ibn Husayn sent for me during his illness, so I came to him. He said to me: "I used to narrate to you hadiths, perhaps Allah will benefit you with them after I am gone. Know that the angels used to greet me. If I live, keep it hidden, and if I die, narrate it if you wish." "And know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Hajj and ‘Umrah together, then no Quranic verse was revealed regarding it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not forbid it." He said: "A man said regarding it whatever he wished based on his own opinion."
