Hadith of Imran ibn Husain (RA)

Hadith 790:42

Hushaym narrated to us, Mansur informed us, from al-Hasan, from ‘Imran ibn Husayn, that a woman from the Muslims was taken captive by the enemy, and they had previously captured a she-camel belonging to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: She saw a moment of negligence from the people. She mounted the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and she vowed that if she were saved, she would slaughter it. He said: She arrived in Medina and intended to slaughter the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, but she was prevented from doing so. This was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "How evil is that which you have rewarded it with." He said: Then he said: "There is no vow for the son of Adam in that which he does not own, nor in disobedience to Allah."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
