Hadith 790:46
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah and more than one person, from Mutarrif ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Shikhkhir, who said: "I and 'Imran ibn Husayn prayed in Kufa behind 'Ali ibn Abi Talib. He performed the *takbir* (saying 'Allahu Akbar') with us, this *takbir*, when he bowed and when he prostrated, and he performed it entirely. When we finished, 'Imran said to me: 'I have not prayed for a while'—or he said: 'for such and such a time'—'that more resembled the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) than this prayer,' meaning the prayer of 'Ali."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، حدثنا معمر، عن قتادة، وغير واحد، عن مطرف بن عبد الله بن الشخير قال 6458: " صليت أنا وعمران بن حصين بالكوفة خلف علي بن أبي طالب فكبر بنا هذا التكبير حين يركع، وحين يسجد، فكبره كله. فلما انصرفنا. قال لي عمران: " ما صليت منذ حين. أو قال: منذ كذا وكذا أشبه بصلاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من هذه الصلاة " يعني: صلاة علي
