Hadith 790:81
Isma'il narrated to us, al-Jariri informed us, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn al-Shikhkhir, from Mutarrif, who said: 'Imran said to me: "I am narrating a hadith to you today so that Allah may benefit you with it after today. Know that the best of the servants of Allah on the Day of Resurrection are the *Hammadun* (those who praise Allah much). And know that a group of the people of Islam will not cease fighting for the truth, prevailing over those who oppose them, until they fight the Dajjal. And know that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, performed 'Umrah with a group of his family during the ten (days of Dhu al-Hijjah), and no verse was revealed to abrogate that, nor did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbid it until he passed away. Every man then exercised his own opinion after that, as Allah willed for him to exercise his opinion."
حدثنا إسماعيل، أخبرنا الجريري، عن أبي العلاء بن الشخير، عن مطرف قال: قال لي عمران إني لأحدثك بالحديث اليوم لينفعك الله به بعد اليوم. اعلم أن " خير عباد الله يوم القيامة الحمادون، واعلم أنه لن تزال طائفة من أهل الإسلام يقاتلون على الحق ظاهرين على من ناوأهم حتى يقاتلوا الدجال، واعلم أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قد أعمر طائفة من أهله في العشر، فلم تنزل آية تنسخ ذلك، ولم ينه عنه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى مضى لوجهه ارتأى كل امرئ بعدما شاء الله أن يرتئي "
