Musnad Ahmad 907:131

Abdullah narrated to us, Abu al-Rabi’ al-Zahrani Sulayman ibn Dawud, Ubayd Allah ibn Umar al-Qawariri, and Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami narrated to me, they said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, Mujalid ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from al-Sha’bi, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon to us at Arafat. Al-Muqaddami said in his narration: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivering a sermon at Mina. This is the wording of the narration of Abu al-Rabi’: I heard him saying: "This matter will not cease to be mighty and manifest until twelve [rulers] reign, all of them..." Then the people clamored and spoke, so I did not understand what he said after "all of them." I said to my father: "O father, what is after 'all of them'?" He said: "All of them are from Quraysh." Al-Qawariri said in his narration: "...it will not be harmed by those who oppose it or depart from it until twelve [rulers] reign."
