Musnad Ahmad 907:14

Abu Kamil narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah: "There was a family in al-Harrah who were in need." He said: "A she-camel of theirs, or someone else's, died among them, so the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, permitted them to eat it." He said: "It sustained them for the remainder of their winter, or their year."
