Abdullah narrated to us, Uthman ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to me, Umar ibn Ubayd al-Tanafisi narrated to us, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was never seen delivering a sermon except while standing."
