Abdullah narrated to us, Qasim ibn Dinar narrated to us, Mus'ab—meaning Ibn al-Miqdam—narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah: "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to recite verses from the Quran in his sermon, and remind the people. His sermon was moderate, and his prayer was moderate."
